While working at Squint Opera Melbourne, I created this video for the Sydney Justice & Police Museum, who were trying to apply for government funding for a refit and rebrand of the museum into the new 'Sydney Crime Museum'.
The Sydney Justice & Police Museum is the biggest Crime museum in Australia and has an amazing collection of police photos going back a hundred years. I got access to a lot of these to make this video, it was really fascinating going through these. We highlighted the incredible and disturbing NSW Police Forensic Photo Archive and used the purple/sepia hue of it's photographic plates as a colour palette for the film.
I hope to go back and visit it one day!
